I am currently enrolled in AB-Tech's Information Security curriculum (Cisco-focused) and expect to graduate in May of 2008. Right now I'm trying to build up contacts and discover like-minded people in the Western North Carolina region. I'd also love to find some part-time networking/IT work while I'm still in school to hone my skills for when I'm back in the real world again.
Are there any tech-oriented networking groups or functions that meet regularly in this area? Any techie folk on this forum, even? I know they're out there somewhere; it's just a matter of finding them. :)
